Investors' cash gets stuck in plan. Can't withdraw funds from a savings plan run by Lou Pearlman
Written by Lou Pearlman Writer
Wednesday, 20 December 2006

Floridians trying to get their money back from entertainment entrepreneur Lou Pearlman’s controversial investment savings plan have been put on hold indefinitely.

Pearlman’s Trans Continental Airlines of Orlando notified investors this week that it has stopped processing withdrawals from its “Employee Investment Savings Account.’’

The unusual investment promises high yields with no risk, a combination particularly appealing to retirees. However, withdrawing money has become increasingly difficult. At least one investor has been trying for five months without success.

“We have experienced some administrative setbacks,” the company said in a form letter signed by vice president Harry Milner. “We anticipate a resolution soon after the first of the year.”

The Florida Office of Financial Regulation is investigating the program, which was the subject of a story in Sunday’s Times.

In the Tampa Bay area, two of the largest promoters were Churchill Financial in Clearwater and Seminole financial planner Ross Dickson.

Milner’s letter offered reassuring words: “The good thing is that your money is secure and on deposit.” However, worried investors have been calling the Times, including one who said he mailed Trans Continental a $300,000 cashier’s check last Thursday.

“I’m heartsick,” said Rick Cassidy, who said his bank told him he couldn’t stop payment on the check.
Several investors said their sales agent told them this week that Trans Continental’s bank had frozen accounts for the savings program.

When the Times attempted to verify the information, Trans Continental’s only response was that investors should call the company.

The state’s Office of Financial Regulation can be reached at (813) 218-5321 in Tampa.

Danielle Brooks is the investigator.

12/30/05 - [Zwebner] Fashion Rock v. Torelli, Rosenberger, Rosenberger, Henderson, Villasenor, etc.: Hendersen issues stern warning to John M. Hollen:

Background: In June of 2004, Fashion Rock, a company owned by Lou Perlman and affiliated with Michael Zwebner, filed suit against a variety of individuals, including noted author, raconteur, and web site operator Les Hendersen ( see:
http://www.klaasdevriesjr.nl/k-files/talentrock/ ). Another individual associated with Fashion Rock created a web site designed to spam the false and malicious lawsuit. Hendersen has since filed suit against said web site and anyone propagating or spamming its claims.

One such person who has spammed the web site in question is John M. Hollen, under the alias jmhollen on SI (see: SI message 22012179).

Les Henderson has issued the following warning to Hollen and others who might wish to spam the web site:

"The information posted and republished from the Lou Pearlman-controlled website regarding conspiracy and RICO suits is both false and defamatory. As such, I, Les Henderson, have initiated legal proceedings, from my place of residence, the province of Ontario, Canada, against sixteen individual and corporate defendants. I request that no further dissemination of this material occur, as I simply do not wish to incur the expense of adding additional tortfeasors to my already extensive claim."

From Wayne Madson Report about Jeb Bush,Charlie Crist and Mark Foley........:
Written by Lou Pearlman Writer
Tuesday, 03 October 2006

October 3, 2006 -- Informed sources in Tallahassee, Florida have told WMR that Governor Jeb Bush was fully aware of ex-Rep. Mark Foley's conduct with underage male pages but sat on the information to protect Foley and another top GOP Florida official, Attorney General Charlie Crist, who is currently running for governor to replace Bush. Today, Jeb Bush said he had not previously known about Foley's behavior with the pages before being informed by House Speaker Dennis Hastert in a letter dated October 1, 2006. Bush said he was "dismayed and shocked to learn about Congressman Foley's unacceptable behavior."

However, according to our Florida sources, the FBI and Justice Department informed the Florida Governor's office, Attorney General Crist, and the Florida AG's Child Protection Cybercrime Unit at least a year ago about Foley's predatory emails and instant messages. WMR was told that Crist's conflict-of-interest in the case stems from Crist's and Foley's involvement in gay sex parties, some of which took place during 2003 in trendy Coconut Grove, Florida. Crist is the same person that put an end to the Lou Pearlman Fashion Rock probe.

Foley scandal reverberating in Florida gubernatorial race. Left to right: Crist, Foley, and Jeb Bush.

Informed Florida sources claim that up until now, Crist and Jeb Bush have been able to keep a lid on the once-divorced Crist's life style, touting his conservative Christian credentials, but that the Foley revelations will severely impact the Crist gubernatorial campaign. The links between Foley and Crist are certain to harm Crist with his conservative backers who admire Crist for his anti-gay rights stance. Floridians begin early voting on October 23.
